Internal Regulation of University Housing

Al-Ryada University of Science and Technology provides suitable housing for its expatriate students in Sadat City. The university is also keen to provide all ways of comfort and tranquillity for its students. The cost of residency exceeds the contribution paid by the student. The rest of the university is supported by the university in order to provide service, rest and full-time study. The university also calls upon all students residing in the students’ residence to maintain its system, furniture, literature, cleanliness and adherence to:
  • General Rules and Regulations:

    1. Adherence to university laws, regulations and internal regulations for university housing.
    2. Maintain a calm and comfortable environment for all university housing students.
  • Appointments and Closures:

    1. Resident students must comply with the Department’s housing deadlines no later than 11 pm for female accommodation.
    2. A student who comes late after the accommodation dates will sign the delay in the book with the responsible security officer by writing the scheduled dates.
    3. Students comply with the deadlines and instructions issued by the Director of Housing.
    4. In special cases after the supervisor’s written consent, the student may be delayed for reasons of university study or for reasons of emergency, at the supervisor’s discretion. Students are prohibited from staying outside the residence on school days except in very exceptional cases with the written consent of the housing manager.
    5. The student will sign a leave form when the weekly holidays and public holidays fall and inform the resident supervisor.
  • Guests and visitors

    1. Students residing in the designated Visitors’ Lounge shall receive visitors, taking into account the deadlines set for this, which shall be from 8 am to 11 pm. No female may enter the youth or male accommodation in the female residence. Guests shall not be accommodated in the student rooms. The security officer shall cooperate and the identity of the guest shall be highlighted upon request.
  • Safety :

    1. Students should keep their personal belongings and items in their cupboard in the room and close it and not leave the items out of the room.
    2. Promptly report any case of theft or loss of personal effects or property.
  • Behaviour:

    1. Refrain from making any noise, respect neighbours’ rights and avoid confusing them.
    2. Students must maintain the hygiene of housing and the safety of its contents, maintain the hygiene and arrangement of rooms, avoid tampering with their property and avoid painting on walls ,Doors and Glasses.
    3. No utterances are permitted, even if they are funny and are prohibited from using cochin and backgammon leaves in reception places.
    4. It is forbidden to smoke inside rooms, use vapors, candles or whatever causes a fire inside the accommodation.
    5. It is forbidden to insert any animals inside the residence.
    6. The obligation to wear decent clothes while sitting in balconies and reception.
    7. Students are warned to carry weapons of all kinds or to use drugs or alcohol.
    8. The student bears all liability for loss or damage to furniture and movables and their party shall not be evacuated until after the lost thing has been returned, repaired or paid for if it is more than the previously paid insurance value.
    9. The fees paid for residency for the period of study up to the end of the exam schedule for each college are not allowed to stay during the period of leave except for the graduation project.
  • Maintenance and reporting of problems:

    1. In case of any failure within the room, the maintenance request must be written and the resident supervisor informed of the necessary maintenance work (form attachment).
  • Penalties :

    1. Students shall be liable to the same penalty if they violate the prescribed regulations. The penalties shall be oral warning, written warning, deprivation of one week’s housing, deprivation of one year’s housing, final dismissal from housing.
