The university delegation meets the Japan Oral Health Association (JOHA) to adopt AI and Metaphers technologies in medical education.
A delegation from the university visited the Japan Oral Health Association (JOHA) headquarters in Tokyo. This visit was aimed at identifying the applications of artificial intelligence and MetaVirus in the production and presentation of three-dimensional educational materials for the courses of the medical sector colleges, especially dentistry, as well as regenerative medicine, which contributes to raising the academic and professional level and scientific mastery. The technique reviewed by the delegation is the first of its kind globally, offering educational materials using dedicated Virtual Reality goggles, which provide a comprehensive 3D viewing experience at a 360 degree angle. This step represents an educational revolution that allows students and researchers to interact more realistically with educational materials, thus contributing to a higher level of understanding and scientific mastery. During the meeting, the delegation stressed the importance of this technique in improving the quality of education in university colleges and expressed its aspiration to introduce it into educational programmes soon, thus enhancing the university’s position as a leading center in embracing the latest technological innovations. This step comes as part of the University’s strategy to develop the educational process and provide an educational environment that meets today’s requirements, ensuring that generations are prepared capable of keeping pace with rapid developments in the medical and dental fields globally.
