As part of the university’s community role and its commitment to supporting the most underserved areas, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized a comprehensive medical convoy for Abu Nashaba Village – Al-Khattaba Center, aiming to provide free, integrated healthcare services to local residents.
The convoy included six specialized medical clinics, a medical laboratory, and a pharmacy, contributing to the delivery of comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services. It also featured several health awareness campaigns addressing:
Proper handling of common colds
Safe use of painkillers
Correct response to cases of gastroenteritis
The convoy was implemented through a joint collaboration between the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Physical Therapy, and the Faculty of Nursing, reflecting the integration of efforts among different faculties to achieve a tangible community impact and promote the concept of social responsibility within the university.
The university affirms its continued commitment to implementing such initiatives, in line with its belief in serving the community, supporting public health, and actively contributing to the achievement of sustainable development.
