Al-Ryada University of Science and Technology (RST) participated in the First Friendship Gathering with Menoufia National University as part of the initiative “We Meet to Rise,” held under the patronage of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of Al-Ryada University; and Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Kassed, President of Menoufia University.
This gathering reflects the joint cooperation in supporting student activities.
A delegation of students, led by Mr. Saeed Abdel Azim, Director of Student Activities, took part in various sports and social events during the gathering. The program included diverse competitions in football, table tennis, wrestling, chess, as well as cultural contests. This event also supports the role of regional university alliances in Egypt, especially the Delta Universities Alliance, in alignment with the presidential initiative “Alliance and Development,” and in support of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Egypt’s Vision 2030.
At the conclusion of the event, which was organized under the supervision of the Student Affairs Sector — led by Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Sherbiny, Vice President of Al-Ryada University for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Nancy Youssef, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Menoufia University — certificates of appreciation and commemorative medals were distributed to the students.
