The Al-Ryada University Convoy provides its services to the people of Kafr Dawoud
Within the initiative of Mr. President of the Republic “A New Beginning for Human Development”, the Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology organized a comprehensive medical convoy to serve the people of Ezbet El Salam in Kafr Dawoud to provide comprehensive and free medical care to the residents under the auspices of Dr. Yahya Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, and the supervision of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector headed by Professor Ehab Saeed, Vice President of the University
The activities of the convoy continued for a full day, providing its services to more than a thousand beneficiaries from its various medical, awareness and social axes.
Professor Ehab Saeed, Vice President of the University, confirmed that the participation of Al-Ryada University RST in the “Bidaya” initiative stems from its social responsibility and aims to provide integrated services to improve the standard of living in all villages surrounding the university and contribute to meeting the health and social needs of families and providing the necessary support in various fields.
Dr. Sarah Ibrahim, General Coordinator of the Community Service and Environmental Development Unit at the University, said that Al-Ryada University is keen to participate actively in the presidential initiative “Bidaya” with the aim of achieving qualitative changes and building a healthy Egyptian person. Dr. Sarah Ibrahim pointed out that the medical axis of the convoy was attended by faculty members from the faculties of dentistry, physical therapy and nursing, and included a number of clinics in various specialties, including: internal medicine, pediatrics, ear, nose and throat, dermatology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, brain and nerves, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, physiotherapy, in addition to an analysis laboratory that provided free analysis to more than 150 beneficiaries and a pharmacy that provided its pharmaceutical services for free. The General Coordinator of the Community Service Unit said that the awareness axis of the convoy was implemented by a group of students from the faculties of dentistry, physical therapy and nursing, and included various awareness campaigns for residents on antibiotic resistance, high blood pressure, its causes and treatment, the harms of painkillers on the body, and environmental pollution, causes and solutions.
