Al-Ryada University organizes a comprehensive medical convoy in Magiriya Village in cooperation with Al-Ameen Association

As part of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology’s (RST) efforts to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development, the University’s Community Service Sector organized a comprehensive medical convoy to serve the residents of Magiriya Village, providing free and integrated healthcare services.

The event was held in cooperation with Al-Ameen Association in the village, which hosted and supported the convoy’s activities, under the patronage of:
🎓 Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees
🎓 Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University 

Prof. Dr. Ehab Said, Vice President for Community Service Affairs, affirmed that organizing such medical convoys stems from the University’s social responsibility and its commitment to actively contribute to the implementation of sustainable development goals by improving living standards in rural areas, meeting families’ health and social needs, and promoting awareness to help prevent the spread of epidemics and diseases. 🌱

Dr. Sara Ibrahim, General Coordinator of the University’s Community Service and Environmental Development Unit, explained that the convoy included participation from several faculty members representing the Faculties of:
🦷 Dentistry
🦴 Physical Therapy
💉 Nursing

It also featured clinics in multiple specialties, including:
👶 Pediatrics – 👁️ Ophthalmology – 👂 ENT – 💪 Physical Therapy – 🦷 Dentistry – 🦴 Orthopedics

The convoy additionally conducted awareness campaigns on:
🧼 Personal hygiene
🥗 Healthy nutrition
💊 Safe use of painkillers and antibiotics
🚰 Rational water consumption
🩺 Prevention of kidney failure and intestinal infections

The convoy provided medical services to 482 patients across various specialties — reaffirming Al-Ryada University’s mission to serve the community and support sustainable health development in Egyptian villages
