Al-Ryada University Organizes Its First Training Camp for Rover Scouts in Collaboration with the Sea Scouts

As part of its vision to develop well-rounded student personalities, Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology organized its first training camp for Rover Scouts and Girl Rovers from various faculties. The event was held under the patronage of:
Dr. Yehia Mabrouk – Chairman of the Board of Trustees
Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy – University President
The camp was organized in collaboration with the Sea Scouts Association, with the active participation of the university’s national scout team coach.
The camp was attended by Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, University President, and Dr. Ahmed Saber, Advisor to the Board of Trustees, who both praised the students’ enthusiasm and active involvement. They emphasized that scouting activities are a core pillar in developing leadership skills, team spirit, self-reliance, and in promoting values of belonging and volunteerism.
The camp featured a series of specialized training workshops delivered by experienced scout leaders, focusing on both basic and advanced scouting skills. Students demonstrated high engagement and eagerness to make the most of this enriching experience.
The activities concluded with the construction of a full-scale field scouting model, executed by the students under the direct supervision of the university’s scout leader. The students showcased impressive teamwork and creativity in carrying out their assignments.
