Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST) received an academic delegation from Xinjiang University of China, headed by Dr. Tang Zhao, in the presence of a distinguished group of Chinese leaders. The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Yahya Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, along with the Vice Presidents, Deans, the Secretary General, the Assistant Secretary General, and university advisors.
The delegation watched a video presentation highlighting the university’s colleges and distinguished academic programs. Both sides discussed prospects for joint scientific cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, with a focus on scientific research, innovation, and the exchange of expertise and students.
The delegation also toured the specialized laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering, where they explored the university’s strong commitment to scientific research and modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, industrial automation, and the digital economy.
The visit concluded with an exchange of commemorative gifts and group photos, reaffirming the depth of cooperation and the sincere desire for joint work between the two universities, in preparation for celebrating one year of successful collaboration.
