In line with the directives of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology, and Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, the university dispatched a high-level delegation to Jijian University of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in China to explore avenues of cooperation and strengthen international partnerships in advanced engineering and technological fields.
The delegation included Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Alaa Khalifa, Director of the Automation and Robotics Engineering Program; Dr. Mohamed Abdel Maged, Director of the Automotive Mechatronics Engineering Program; and Mr. Abdelrahman Yehia, Assistant Secretary-General.
Dr. Yehia Mabrouk emphasized that this step comes ضمن a strategic vision aimed at transforming the university into an internationally oriented institution, noting that collaboration with global universities is a key pillar for knowledge transfer, improving education quality, and enhancing graduates’ competitiveness.
In the same context, Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy stated that the university is committed to preparing graduates equipped with modern scientific and practical skills, مؤكداً that cooperation with the Chinese side opens broad opportunities for training students in advanced educational environments and linking theoretical study with practical application.
For his part, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, affirmed that this partnership represents a strong addition to engineering programs and contributes to the development of the educational process through the exchange of expertise and exposure to the latest global technologies, which positively reflects on students and scientific research.
