Al-Ryada University visits Hospital 57357 and offers scholarships to survivors.

As part of its commitment to supporting humanitarian initiatives and enhancing cooperation in the fields of health, education, and research, a high-level delegation from Al-Ryada University of Science and Technology (RST), led by Professor Dr. Reda Hegazy – University President, visited the Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 in Cairo. 

🔹 The delegation included:

Professor Dr. Ihab Said – Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Community Service.

Several deans of the university’s faculties.

The visit featured a tour of the hospital’s medical departments and research laboratories to observe the latest equipment and therapeutic technologies. The delegation was received by Dr. Sherif Abou El Naga – Hospital Director, who presented the hospital’s achievements and its pioneering role locally and regionally.

🤝 During the visit, Professor Dr. Reda Hegazy announced the offering of:

Full scholarships for cancer survivors who successfully passed the General Secondary Examination this year.

Partial scholarships (50% discount) for admission to the university’s various faculties.

✨ This initiative reflects the university’s appreciation for the outstanding humanitarian and professional role played by Hospital 57357 in caring for and treating children.

📌 Furthermore, both parties agreed to initiate procedures for signing cooperation protocols covering:

Training for medical students and interns at the hospital.

Collaboration in scientific research and specialized courses.

Development of artificial intelligence applications in diagnosis and treatment.

Support for modern academic programs in engineering and medical sciences.

This step reaffirms Al-Ryada University’s commitment to supporting Egypt’s healthcare, educational, and technological ecosystem.
