Honoring the winners of the Haj Fathy Mabrouk Competition at the conclusion of the student activities.

Dr. Yahya Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology, Mr. Hossam Fathy Mabrouk, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, attended the honoring ceremony for the winners of the Haj Fathy Mabrouk Competition and the conclusion of student activities for the academic year 2024/2025.
The event was also attended by Dr. Ahmed Saber, Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Sherbiny, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the deans, and senior academic and administrative leaders of the university.
The ceremony began with a speech by Mr. Said Abdel Azim, Director of Student Activities, who highlighted the outstanding participation of students from various faculties in cultural and sports competitions both on and off campus.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy praised the students’ performance throughout the academic year, which was clearly demonstrated in the Haj Fathy Mabrouk Cultural Competition through their excellent research presentations. He emphasized that students gained valuable skills in presentation, public speaking, and self-confidence, which reinforces the importance of participation in preparing students for the job market.
Dr. Yahya Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, shared the stages of establishing Al-Ryada University, which began as an idea in the mind of the late Haj Fathy Mabrouk, aiming to serve the youth and families of Monufia Governorate. Thanks to his sincerity and God’s grace, the project was rapidly completed.
He extended his gratitude to all those who contributed sincerely to the establishment of Al-Ryada University, especially Dr. Ahmed Saber and Engineer Ahmed Negm, for their pivotal roles in expediting the university’s development.
He affirmed that the university’s goal is to produce graduates who are in demand in the labor market, and that all support and resources are being provided to Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy and the deans to help them select faculty members capable of fulfilling the university’s vision and mission.
Mr. Hossam Fathy Mabrouk, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, stated that his late father had always dreamed of seeing students at the university and witnessing their happiness at having a higher education institution near them. On this day of remembrance, he confirmed that the Board of Trustees remains committed to realizing his vision by supporting education and community service.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the winners of the Haj Fathy Mabrouk Cultural Competition were honored.
Mahmoud Seddik, from the Faculty of Nursing, won first place for his research on social media and received a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize of 10,000 EGP.
Eman Deif Allah, from the Faculty of Dentistry, came in second place for her research on population issues and received a certificate of appreciation and 5,000 EGP.
Mohamed Sabry Shaheen, from the Faculty of Nursing, won third place and received a certificate of appreciation and 3,000 EGP.
Certificates of appreciation and 1,000 EGP prizes were awarded to the following students for their outstanding participation:

Hoda Kotb Said (Faculty of Physical Therapy)
Fares Awad Mardy (Nursing)
Hend Kotb Abdo (Nursing)
Additionally, students who excelled in various cultural, sports, and religious competitions, as well as participants in art exhibitions and handicraft displays, were also honored. Group and commemorative photos were taken at the end of the celebration.
