In light of the strategic plan of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST) and the innovation and creativity axis in the strategic plan for higher education to raise creative innovation among young people, the University of Leadership, through the IEEE Egypt Branch, is keen to provide an opportunity to exchange talented ideas and present them to specialists.
From this standpoint, the University of Al-Ryada, in cooperation with the IEEE Egypt AP-S/MTT-S Egypt Branch, organizes the International Innovation Exhibition (IEI’2024) scheduled to be held from August 18 to 19, 2024, at the University of Al-Ryada for Science and Technology, Sadat, Egypt. The IEEE AP-S and IEEE MTT-S societies also provide technical support for the exhibition.
The Innovation Exhibition aims to showcase innovative concepts and projects developed within Egyptian and foreign universities and schools, in addition to a variety of technical projects. The exhibition contributes to enhancing creative thinking and inspiring students to investigate and create new approaches to a range of issues and difficulties across many disciplines. (300) teams applied to participate, and after two stages of elimination between the teams, (57) teams from universities and schools qualified for the final and attended the exhibition.
The exhibition will be attended by supervisors, representatives of participating educational institutions, and experts in the field of innovation and creativity. The exhibition is a good opportunity to showcase the creative works of talented young people to evaluation committees and interested parties from various fields of industry, education, and scientific research. The participating projects include many important topics, problems, and current global challenges, including topics related to renewable energy, projects to support people with disabilities, artificial intelligence and machine learning, big data, and the Internet of Things.
Al-Ryada University works to adopt the ideas of innovators and develop them into application through projects implemented in the university’s laboratories and under the supervision of an elite group of faculty members at the university, and then they can be presented to the surrounding community institutions until the desired goal is achieved.
Al-Ryada University also provides unique and pioneering educational methods in the scientific and applied aspects and includes a group of faculty members. It is equipped with the latest laboratories and laboratories, which allows for following the latest technological methods and trends. There is also a partnership with many international bodies and universities, such as the University of East London in England, I Park in Japan, and others.
