prof. Reda Hegazy, former Minister of Education and Technical Education, assumed the position of President of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology for a period of 4 years.
Professor Reda Hegazy will start his work starting today, Sunday, succeeding prof.Ehab Saeed, Acting President of the University.
The selection was based on his career in the field of education, and the successes he achieved within the Ministry of Education during his tenure as Minister and before that as Deputy Minister.
prof. Reda Hegazy held several leadership positions, including:
– Deputy Chairman of the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education
– Deputy Director of the Professional Academy for Teachers
– General President of the General Secondary Examinations for 3 years
– Head of the General Education Sector during the period from 2015 to 2019
– Deputy Minister of Education for Teacher Affairs from 2019 until he assumed the position
