Professor Dr. Reda Hegazy Delivers a Lecture in the Training Program for Leaders of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

Professor Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST), delivered the opening lecture in a training course titled “Managing and Leading Institutional Change”, organized by the Arab Institute for Advanced Technology in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization. The course is part of a training program designed to qualify senior management leaders at the Organization, and was attended by executive and administrative leaders from various sectors, along with officials from the Ministry of Industry.
Professor Hegazy emphasized that achieving successful change is not solely based on having a clear vision and ambition, but also on strong willpower, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to change. He urged participants to embrace a culture of continuous learning as a means to solidify positive transformation.
In his lecture, the university president presented a range of scientific models and perspectives on how to drive successful institutional change, achieve sustainability, and enhance competitiveness in the workplace.
He noted that change offers multiple benefits, including breaking routine, renewing energy, injecting fresh talent into institutions, and correcting administrative paths by eliminating weak performers—ultimately contributing to the establishment of a professional system capable of keeping pace with modern demands.
Dr. Hegazy also cited practical examples from the education sector, such as the shift from traditional learning to e-learning, describing it as a clear illustration of the difference between change, reform, improvement, and development.
This training course is part of a series of capacity-building events organized by the Arab Institute for Advanced Technology in collaboration with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, aiming to develop a new generation of national leadership
