RST University Dentistry Students Shine at the IDC25 Global Dentistry Conference Competitions
The Faculty of Dentistry at RST University of Science and Technology (RST) won top awards for outstanding students and recent graduates at the Global Dentistry Conference among Egyptian universities, under the patronage of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, University President.
Prof. Dr. Gamal Moatamed, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, confirmed that the faculty’s students won first place in the Poster Competition – Oral Medicine branch (student research), with participation from students Reham Ahmed and Habiba Omar.
In the theoretical competition for Dental Materials, student Habiba Shehata achieved first place, while student Nada Sabry won second place in the theoretical competition for Oral Biology. These achievements took place during the IDC25 Global Dentistry Conference, hosted by Misr University for Science and Technology, with the participation of over 150 students as well as a group of faculty members and teaching assistants from the faculty.
The Dean congratulated the students who represented the university with distinction, emphasizing that this success reflects the faculty’s leading role in preparing highly qualified professionals in the field of dentistry and supports the continuation of academic and research excellence among its students.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Gamal Moatamed was honored during the conference and presented with the conference shield in recognition of the faculty’s outstanding support for the event.
