Systems Administrator – Senior

Overview:
Join Al- Al-Ryada University and lead the IT infrastructure team! As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will plan, implement, and optimize IT systems while mentoring junior staff and introducing new technologies.
Responsibilities:
• All Specialist responsibilities, plus:
• Lead server deployment, upgrades, and optimization projects.
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Plan server capacity and performance improvements.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance infrastructure.
• Mentor junior system administrators and provide technical guidance.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in system administration.
• Advanced knowledge of server management, virtualization, cloud integration, and disaster recovery.
• Proven leadership and project management experience.
Key Technical Skills:
• Advanced Windows/Linux administration
• Virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware)
• Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 / Azure
• Backup and disaster recovery (Veeam experience preferred)
• Cloud administration and emerging technologies
