In order to enhance the spirit of positive competition among students of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST) toward excellence and diligence, under the patronage of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, the Faculty of Dentistry honored the top-ranking and outstanding students.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, the Vice Presidents of the University, the Deans, the University Secretary-General and Assistant Secretary-General, as well as faculty members and teaching assistants.
The event began with the national anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an. Prof. Dr. Gamal Moatamed, Dean of the Faculty, delivered a welcoming speech, expressing his happiness and pride in the top students of the first and second academic levels, who represent a large proportion of the faculty’s students. He noted that Dentistry students are distinguished by commitment, seriousness, and positive participation, which is a source of pride for the faculty.
The Dean called on students to continue pursuing knowledge and excellence while upholding proper conduct and developing their scientific and practical skills.
In his speech, Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, emphasized that honoring outstanding students comes within the framework of the university’s strategy to encourage academic excellence and promote a culture of achievement and knowledge, contributing to the preparation of graduates capable of entering the labor market with competence and confidence.
He added that parents will be invited to the upcoming honoring ceremony to witness their children’s excellence and the results of their academic efforts. He also highlighted the university administration’s commitment to providing all necessary support to students at both the academic and training levels by offering a stimulating educational environment and specialized training programs that refine their skills and equip them with the tools needed to meet labor market requirements.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the President of the University and the Dean of the Faculty honored the outstanding and top-ranking students, awarding them certificates of appreciation and excellence in encouragement to continue their journey of success and distinction.
