Al-Ryada University Hosts a Delegation from the Coordination Committee of Party Youth and Politicians.

Coinciding with Egypt’s celebrations of Sinai Liberation Day, Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology, under the patronage of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, hosted a seminar titled “Youth and Egyptian National Security” as part of the “Build Your Awareness” initiative launched by the Coordination Committee of Party Youth and Politicians.
The seminar aimed to instill national awareness, reinforce values of belonging and pride in the nation’s history, build students’ awareness, and strengthen their national identity. It also sought to educate youth on the local, regional, and international challenges facing Egypt, and to raise public awareness among university students regarding issues of Egyptian national security.
The seminar was attended by a delegation from the Coordination Committee of Party Youth and Politicians, including Dr. Ragyia El-Fiqi, member of the Senate; Dr. Khaled Badawi, member of the House of Representatives; Dr. Mahmoud Naji, member of the Coordination Committee; and Dr. Al-Hassan El-Azzawi, also a member of the Committee.
At the beginning of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of Al-Ryada University, presented the university’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives, stating the university’s ambition to become a highly competitive institution at both local and international levels.
He emphasized that the reference framework of the Supreme Council of Universities for academic regulations focuses on student activities and the development of cognitive skills. At Al-Ryada University, we are committed to providing a stimulating and technologically advanced educational environment that empowers graduates to think creatively, innovate, and compete in the labor market.
Dr. Ragyia El-Fiqi, Senator, affirmed that the Egyptian state is facing significant regional and international challenges on all its borders—an unprecedented situation that also reflects Egypt’s strength and pivotal role in the region. She praised the role of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his wisdom in safeguarding the country’s resources and confronting all threats to Egypt’s national security.
Dr. Khaled Badawi, MP, explained that Egypt is engaged in a real war—one that does not involve weapons but rather social media and artificial intelligence, which are being used to distort facts and mislead the Egyptian people about political matters and their connection to national security.
Dr. Mahmoud Naji emphasized the importance of combating extremist ideologies and misinformation that seek to distort the truth about the Palestinian cause. He stressed Egypt’s unwavering stance against the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.
Dr. Al-Hassan El-Azzawi urged Al-Ryada University students to play an active role in society and protect the collective awareness of the Egyptian people, which serves as the first line of defense against external agendas and schemes.
The seminar was attended by the university’s vice presidents, deans, faculty members, the university secretary-general, assistant secretary, and students from various faculties.
At the conclusion of the seminar, the delegation from the Coordination Committee responded to numerous questions and inquiries from students regarding key economic, social, and political issues.
