Al-Ryada University Hosts Meeting of Partners in the Presidential Initiative “Alliance and Development”

Under the patronage of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST) hosted the coordination meeting for partners of the Presidential Initiative “Alliance and Development”, which aims to foster partnerships between universities and research institutes on one side, and the industrial sector and entrepreneurs on the other, in alignment with the national policy for sustainable innovation. 

Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of Al-Ryada University, welcomed the attendees and emphasized that the initiative seeks to strengthen collaboration to transform innovative ideas into practical projects that support the national economy in Sadat City and the Delta Region.

He further noted that the Delta Region Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance contributes to local development by establishing effective partnerships with the industrial sector and offering practical solutions to societal challenges. He stressed that Al-Ryada University is committed to converting research outputs into economically viable projects, creating an entrepreneurial environment within the university that supports turning research ideas into actionable ventures.

Prof. Dr. Ehab Said, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, explained that the coordination meeting brought together representatives from Al-Ryada University, Menoufia University, Sadat City University, the Tabbin Institute for Metallurgical Studies, Theodor Bilharz Research Institute, a biotechnology company, the Arab Union for Education and Scientific Research, Sadat City Investors Association, entrepreneurs, and local community members. The aim was to develop a work plan for the Delta Alliance for Smart and Innovative Biological Diagnostics.
