The Faculty of Nursing at Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST) organized a festive closing ceremony to mark the end of the 2024/2025 academic year. The event featured a video presentation highlighting some of the most prominent student activities and events throughout the year, reflecting the spirit of initiative, teamwork, and academic commitment among students, teaching assistants, and faculty members. The program also included a variety of cultural and artistic performances.
The celebration was attended by Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ehab Said, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, along with members of the university’s academic and administrative leadership.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy emphasized that nursing is one of the most noble and humanitarian professions, and affirmed the university’s commitment to preparing graduates who are competitive both locally and internationally. He noted that the university is implementing an ambitious strategic plan focused on educational quality and alignment with labor market needs, including opening employment opportunities for nursing graduates in European countries.
Prof. Dr. Naglaa Abdel-Mawgoud, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, presented the Faculty Shield to Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy and the vice presidents, and distributed certificates of appreciation to university leaders, faculty members, and outstanding students across various activities.
Attendees expressed their admiration for the event’s organization, the diverse performances, and the high sense of responsibility shown by the nursing students. Certificates of appreciation were also distributed to all participants and organizers in recognition of their efforts in making the end-of-year celebration a success.
