Al-Ryada University strengthens its global presence in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in China
Under the directives of Yahya Mabrouk Farag, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology, and Reda Hegazy, President of the University and former Minister of Education, Al-Ryada University continues to strengthen its international standing through active participation in major global specialized events.
In this context, Yahya El-Helougi, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, took part in the Global Workshop on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Their Applications, hosted in Beijing. The event witnessed broad participation from official delegations representing 36 countries under the Belt and Road Initiative, reflecting its significance on the international stage.
Dr. Yahya Mabrouk emphasized that this participation reflects Al-Ryada University’s ambitious strategic vision, based on openness to global experiences and the establishment of strong international partnerships that support the quality of education and scientific research. He added that the university places artificial intelligence and cybersecurity at the forefront of its priorities, given their pivotal role in driving digital transformation and shaping the future. He also stressed the importance of preparing qualified human cadres capable of competing regionally and internationally.
For his part, Dr. Reda Hegazy explained that the university seeks to align educational outcomes with the demands of the global labor market by supporting innovation and enhancing applied scientific research. He noted that participation in such international events represents an important opportunity for exchanging expertise and transferring the latest global practices into educational institutions, contributing to the development of the educational process and the achievement of academic excellence.
