Al-Ryada University organizes its annual colleges forum with the participation of education leaders in Monufia and secondary school students

Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST) organized the activities of the “Annual Colleges Forum”, held for the second consecutive year under the patronage of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University. The event was attended by the university’s academic and administrative leaders, Dr. Robert Barua, Education Officer at the UNESCO Office in Cairo, as well as educational and executive leaders in Monufia Governorate, led by Mr. Hany Antar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, along with students from language and public schools.

The event began with the national anthem, followed by an introductory video presenting the university’s nine faculties and the modern academic programs they offer, which are based on the latest technological systems. This aligns with the university’s vision of preparing graduates capable of competing locally and internationally and equipping them to meet the demands of the advanced labor market. 

Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, emphasized that the university’s strategic vision aims to prepare graduates who can compete in the job market by equipping them with modern skills and applied knowledge aligned with current demands. He noted that the Colleges Forum helps high school students and parents learn about the advanced educational capabilities offered by the university, which are designed according to the latest international standards within a modern educational framework that promotes innovation and critical thinking. The university is committed to embedding these values through the integration of technology, particularly artificial intelligence applications, into its operations.

He added that the goal is not merely to graduate students seeking jobs, but to develop individuals capable of innovation, entrepreneurship, and achieving sustainable success.

The University President also highlighted the key advantages of Al-Ryada University, particularly its location in Sadat City as an industrial hub, which provides real practical training opportunities for students, in addition to advanced academic programs and international partnerships that enhance the quality of education.

Dr. Ehab Saeed, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, affirmed that the university places scientific research at the forefront of its priorities and seeks to align it with the needs of society and industry, especially in light of the rapid development in modern technology fields. He added that what was presented during the event reflects the scale of investment in developing infrastructure and technology to support both education and research. In this context, he noted that the university works to qualify researchers and faculty members through international training programs, particularly in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, contributing to improving research efficiency and fostering innovation.

Dr. Mohamed El-Sherbiny, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, confirmed that the university adopts modern teaching methods that focus on practical application, helping to prepare students for the labor market from the beginning of their studies. He added that organizing the “Colleges Forum” reflects the university’s commitment to direct engagement with school students and assisting them in choosing specializations that match their abilities and interests.

The University President and attendees also toured the Colleges Forum exhibition, which featured a range of student research projects as well as artistic and handicraft works supervised by the university’s Activities Department. The attendees praised the exhibits and expressed their admiration for the diverse electronic models presented by students from various faculties, reflecting the university’s vision of preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with modern demands.

Attendees affirmed that the university’s advanced academic programs and international partnerships contribute to supporting sustainable development plans and building a more advanced future.
