The University of Leadership for Science and Technology held its closing ceremony for student activities for the 2025/2026 academic year, under the patronage of Dr. Yahya Mabrouk Farag and Professor Reda Hegazy, and under the supervision of the Education and Student Affairs Sector. The ceremony took place in a festive atmosphere that reflected the scale of the achievements and the active participation of the students.
The university leadership, faculty members, and students attended the ceremony, where the fruits of a wide range of activities were showcased. These activities encompassed scientific, cultural, artistic, athletic, and community aspects, all under the supervision of the Student Activities Department.
Professor Reda Hegazy, the university president, emphasized that university education is no longer limited to grades alone, but extends to building students’ character and developing their skills. He stressed the importance of transitioning towards fifth-generation universities based on technology and entrepreneurship.
Professor Mohamed El-Sherbiny, the university’s vice president for education and student affairs, explained that the university implemented an ambitious activity plan with the participation of all colleges, aiming to develop students’ skills in various fields. He affirmed that true success is measured by a student’s impact on their community, not solely by their academic grades.
The ceremony concluded with a special theatrical performance entitled “Platform Number 5”, followed by honoring outstanding students in recognition of their efforts and contributions throughout the academic year.
