Faculty of Engineering Trip to China
Al-Ryada University Students Embark on an International Training Experience in China
As part of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology’s commitment to advancing its educational system and connecting academic learning with practical experience, the Faculty of Engineering is preparing to embark on a distinguished international training experience in the People’s Republic of China, with the participation of 14 students from various engineering disciplines.
This initiative comes in line with the directives of Dr. Yahya Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology; Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University and former Minister of Education; and Dr. Mohamed Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. The initiative aims to provide students with international training opportunities and enhance their scientific and technological capabilities in line with the requirements of both local and international labor markets.
The students will participate in a training program at Zhejiang Polytechnic University for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in China, covering several fields of modern engineering and technology, including:
Automation and Robotics
Automotive Mechatronics
Renewable Energy
Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy emphasized that Al-Ryada University is committed to providing its students with real opportunities to explore the latest global developments in technology and engineering. He highlighted that international training is an essential component in developing graduates capable of competing on a global scale.
Dr. Mohamed Kamel also explained that this experience represents an important opportunity to enhance students’ skills and transform academic knowledge into practical expertise, while enabling them to explore the latest technologies and engineering practices within one of the world’s advanced educational and technological environments.
This experience reflects Al-Ryada University’s commitment to expanding international partnerships and training opportunities, while preparing engineers equipped with knowledge, skills, and practical experience, capable of keeping pace with the rapid developments in future technologies.
