Under the patronage of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST), and Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, a delegation of faculty members and students participated in the International Medical Scientific Conference, which brought together experts and specialists in the field of pediatrics from around the world.
The “Life is Heart” Foundation expressed its appreciation to the university administration for sponsoring and supporting the foundation’s Annual International Conference, which was held over two days in Cairo.
Prof. Dr. Hala Mounir Agha, President of the Foundation and Secretary-General of the Egyptian Society for Congenital Heart Diseases, welcomed the university’s scientific delegation—headed by Prof. Dr. Farag Abdel-Monem, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, and Prof. Dr. Naglaa Abdel-Mawgoud, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing—for their distinguished participation in the scientific sessions and workshops. This reflects the university’s commitment to supporting health initiatives and advancing its role as a leading educational institution in serving humanity.
Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, emphasized that the Board of Trustees’ approval to sponsor and participate in the Cardiac Medical Scientific Conference stems from its ongoing commitment to supporting higher education and scientific research. This, he added, strengthens the university’s international academic presence and reaffirms its pioneering role in supporting global scientific initiatives related to pediatric and neonatal heart diseases, intensive cardiac care, and nursing.
