Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST) hosted a distinguished educational and awareness seminar, during which Dr. Barbara Budzińska presented her specialized research vision in the treatment of neurological diseases. The event was held under the patronage of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Reda Hegazy, President of the University, and was attended by the Vice Presidents, deans, faculty members, and students.

Prof. Reda Hegazy affirmed that the University adopts a modern educational vision based on international openness and the direct transfer of knowledge from its original sources to students. He noted that hosting scholars and experts from leading international universities represents a fundamental pillar in the development of higher education, as it provides direct engagement with the latest scientific advancements.

The seminar was moderated by Prof. Nesreen Salah El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy. The session featured an extensive scientific discussion on opportunities for research collaboration, exchange of expertise, and mechanisms for integrating advanced research applications into the educational process—enhancing scientific thinking skills and connecting students with the latest global trends in medical research.

The program also included a presentation video introducing the University’s faculties, programs, and activities, in addition to a video about Medical University of Lublin and its affiliated faculties. The visit featured a tour of the specialized laboratories at the Faculties of Pharmacy, Applied Health Sciences, and Dentistry, as well as a brief lecture delivered to Pharmacy students.

The event concluded with the presentation of the University shield and commemorative photos, reaffirming the University’s commitment to supporting joint research, academic, and student collaboration between the two institutions.
The protocol aims to foster cooperation in the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence, as well as engineering and petroleum sectors, in addition to exchanging academic expertise, co-supervising postgraduate theses, and implementing applied training programs within real work environments. The agreement also includes activating student exchange programs between the two universities across various disciplines, providing students with diverse academic and professional experiences and preparing them for the modern labor market.

Both sides emphasized that the agreement represents a practical step toward preparing innovative graduates capable of competing effectively, by providing access to specialized laboratories, supporting student projects, and transforming them into implementable applications, in addition to organizing joint scientific conferences and workshops in the coming period.

This cooperation aligns with the state’s direction toward skills-based education, innovation, and entrepreneurship, reinforcing the role of universities in supporting sustainable development and serving the community.
