As part of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology’s commitment to utilizing the best technological and scientific methods and the latest international standards in the implementation of the Dentistry Clinics Complex and the establishment of the University Teaching Hospital, reflecting its vision of creating medical institutions that meet global standards, a high-level delegation from the university administration paid an inspection visit to the Quartz Production Complex in Ain Sokhna.
The delegation was headed by Dr. Yehia Mabrouk Farag and included Dr. Ahmed Saber, Eng. Ahmed Nagm, and Major General Ahmed El Sherbiny. The visit was made to the Quartz Production Complex in Ain Sokhna, one of the modern strongholds of Egyptian industry affiliated with the National Service Projects Organization, which produces quartz according to the highest European standards and supplies materials used in the construction of clinics, operating rooms, and specialized medical laboratories.
The delegation was received by Major General Dr. Mohamed Youssef, who delivered a detailed presentation on the stages of Egyptian quartz production, highlighting how it meets the highest European and international standards.
In line with the university’s role in linking academic education with practical reality, coordination took place between the university delegation and the leadership of the complex to organize field visits for students of the Faculty of Engineering — after obtaining the necessary approvals — to explore this source of pride in Egyptian industry and one of the largest quartz production facilities in the Middle East and Africa, showcasing the success of Egyptian expertise in competing globally.
At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Yehia Mabrouk Farag expressed his pride and appreciation for the advanced technology and operational efficiency witnessed at the complex, achieved entirely by Egyptian hands to meet the highest international standards and quality levels. He extended his gratitude to Major General Dr. Mohamed Youssef and all employees of the complex, emphasizing that this achievement embodies the vision of the New Republic under the leadership of Abdel Fattah El-Sisi
