In a new step reflecting the state’s direction toward integrating education with practical application, and in line with the directives of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology, the university signed a cooperation protocol with the Medical Services Sector of the Ministry of Interior. The agreement aims to support the practical training system for healthcare students within police hospitals, in accordance with the latest international medical standards.
This cooperation underscores the importance of linking academic study with professional practice by providing students with real training opportunities in advanced medical environments, thereby contributing to the preparation of qualified healthcare professionals equipped with scientific expertise and practical skills capable of meeting labor market demands.
The signing ceremony was attended by Major General Dr. Saeed El-Naggar, First Assistant Minister of Interior for the Medical Services Sector; Major General Dr. Nabil Fikry, Deputy Head of the Sector; Professor Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology and former Minister of Education; Professor Dr. Ehab Said, Vice President of the University; and Professor Dr. Farag Abdel Monem, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy.
Both parties affirmed that this partnership represents a successful model of cooperation between educational institutions and executive sectors, supporting the development of Egypt’s healthcare and educational systems while enhancing the quality of medical and training services provided to students.
