A Training Trip to China for the Development and Training of Al Ryada Engineering Students
As part of Al Ryada University for Science and Technology (RST)’s strategic vision to expand international training opportunities and prepare globally competitive graduates equipped to meet the demands of future technologies and excel in both local and international job markets, under the patronage of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University,
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, announced the launch of an international scientific training program for 14 outstanding engineering students at Zhejiang University of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (ZJUME) in China, one of the country’s leading technological universities.
The program aims to provide students with hands-on experience using the latest advanced equipment and precision machinery in the fields of electrical engineering, energy systems, mechanical engineering, and intelligent automation and control systems.
The Dean explained that this scientific training program follows the successful official visit of a delegation from the Faculty of Engineering at Al Ryada University to the Chinese university, where both institutions explored opportunities for academic collaboration and jointly designed a training program aligned with the highest international standards and the future needs of the global labor market.
The program focuses on three cutting-edge disciplines that represent the core of modern technology and the Fourth Industrial Revolution:
Automation and Robotics
Automotive Mechatronics
Renewable Energy
He also noted that Al Ryada University is covering more than 50% of the total costs of the training program and the students’ trip to ensure broader student participation and reduce the financial burden on participants, in line with the University’s strategy to promote international practical training opportunities for its students.
