Under the guidance of Yahya Mabrouk Farag and Professor Dr. Reda Hegazy, the Student Activities Department at the University of Sports for Science and Technology organized an official (preliminary) training program to qualify new leaders in the Egyptian Sea Scouts – Menoufia Branch. The program was held on the university campus in Sadat City, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and with wide participation from university students.
Highlights of the event:
Participation of 26 students from various university faculties in the first scouting experience of its kind
Attendance of university leadership and leaders of the Egyptian Sea Scouts – Menoufia Branch
Practical training in setting up camps and erecting tents
Development of leadership, teamwork, and discipline skills among students
Formation of working groups to enhance the spirit of cooperation among students
Direct supervision from the Student Activities Department to ensure the quality of training
Great participation and enthusiasm from students throughout the program
The event concluded with honoring the participating students, as well as the delegation from the Egyptian Sea Scouts – Menoufia Branch, in appreciation of their efforts in making the program a success. This reflects the university’s commitment to supporting student activities and building competent young leaders capable of shaping the future.
