In line with the directives of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology, and as part of the university’s commitment to enhancing international academic openness and building strategic partnerships with leading global educational institutions 🌍,

Upon a kind invitation from Prof. Dr. Nesreen Salah El-Din, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the university welcomed Prof. Dr. Hend Abdelhakim, Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at University College London, and one of the experts overseeing healthcare management programs at the UCL Global Business School for Health.

Dr. Yehia Mabrouk emphasized that hosting Egyptian scholars abroad represents a fundamental pillar in the university’s strategy to build effective bridges of communication with international expertise. He highlighted the university’s commitment to delivering a modern educational model that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application in line with global developments.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy stated that the visit reflects the university’s direction toward academic internationalization, supporting the development of academic programs and enhancing the quality of educational outcomes. He also noted that it provides real opportunities for international training and academic exchange, particularly in the healthcare sector, مؤكداً that collaboration with UCL represents an advanced model for linking education with the global labor market.

In the same context, Prof. Dr. Ehab Said confirmed that the visit marks an important step toward strengthening research collaboration in pharmaceutical sciences and healthcare management, with a focus on transforming research outputs into practical applications, fostering innovation, and building the capacities of young researchers.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Sherbiny also highlighted the importance of developing the educational system and aligning academic programs with labor market needs, emphasizing the university’s commitment to offering an integrated educational experience that combines academic study with practical training and enhances students’ leadership skills.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Nesreen Salah El-Din stated that the visit represents a valuable addition to the Faculty of Pharmacy, as it included a tour of specialized laboratories and showcased innovative pharmaceutical products developed by students, reflecting the integration of academic and practical aspects.

The visit also featured an extensive discussion session on mechanisms for cooperation in education and scientific research, as well as opportunities for postgraduate studies and PhD programs, contributing to the preparation of qualified professionals capable of leading the global healthcare system.
