Medical convoy launches for the village of Bani Salama
Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology launched a comprehensive medical convoy to the village of Bani Salama in Giza Governorate, under the patronage of Dr. Yahya Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Professor. Ehab Saeed, Acting President of the University. This was within the framework of the continuation of the series of convoys launched by the university in the villages and out of belief in the university’s role in serving the community. About 800 cases were examined in various medical specialties, which included “children, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, conjunctivitis, neurology, nose and ear, skin, bones, internal medicine, heart, teeth, and physical therapy.” A number of specialists from Faculties of oral and dental medicine and physical therapy at the university. The convoy includes a group of distinguished cadres with the aim of conducting medical examination and providing free treatment. The university has provided ongoing charity for Dar Al-Fayrouz Hospital by donating three wheelchairs, two medical walkers, four medical crutches and ten medical glasses for unable patients. The university also seeks to provide the necessary medical services, examination and treatment in an advanced manner, as the university aims to advance health, social, environmental and intellectual development and provide a distinguished medical service to perform its developmental and service mission and to benefit from the university’s specialized scientific competencies.
