Students of the Faculty of Engineering at Al Ryada University for Science & Technology (RST) have successfully completed their training program in China, following an intensive academic and practical experience that provided them with exposure to the latest advanced manufacturing and engineering technologies. The program reflects the University’s commitment to expanding international training opportunities, connecting academic study with practical applications, and equipping students with the skills required for the labor market and future careers. 
The program was organized in line with the directives of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al Ryada University for Science & Technology, and Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazi, President of the University and former Minister of Education, to expand international training opportunities and provide students with distinguished educational and practical experiences that contribute to building their capabilities and developing their professional and personal skills. 
Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazi emphasized that the University places the development of students’ personalities and competencies among its top priorities, explaining that education goes beyond acquiring knowledge and earning a degree. It also involves developing critical thinking, practical application, creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to compete in the labor market.
The students participated in a practical training program at Zhejiang Polytechnic University for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Hangzhou. The program included academic and practical activities as well as educational visits, through which the students explored modern production and manufacturing technologies. They also visited the Advanced Optical Manufacturing Research Institute, where they were introduced to Computer Numerical Control (CNC) technologies and ultra-precision optical manufacturing. 
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, stated that the experience contributed to enhancing the students’ skills and connecting theoretical knowledge with advanced engineering applications. It also provided them with an opportunity to experience workplace culture and professional discipline in an international environment. 
The program concluded with a ceremony honoring the RST students, where they received training completion certificates and commemorative gifts. This was followed by a recreational program featuring visits to several Chinese landmarks, bringing to a close an experience that combined engineering training, cultural exchange, and exposure to international experiences.
