Under the directives of Dr. Yehia Mabrouk, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ryada University for Science and Technology, to enhance international presence and expand academic partnerships, the university participated in the EURIE 2026 – Eurasia Higher Education Summit held in Istanbul, with the participation of a distinguished group of university presidents and decision-makers from around the world.
Dr. Yehia Mabrouk emphasized that Al-Ryada University’s participation in this international event reflects a clear strategic vision toward openness to global experiences and building strong academic alliances. He noted that internationalization has become essential for improving the quality of education and preparing graduates capable of competing regionally and globally, in line with Egypt’s direction toward a knowledge-based economy.
In this context, Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy, President of the University and former Minister of Education, presented a comprehensive vision for establishing an academic corridor linking Europe, the Arab world, and Eurasia. This initiative aims to support educational integration, enhance student and researcher exchange, and launch joint programs in vital fields such as technology, energy, and healthcare.
Prof. Dr. Reda Hegazy added that this initiative represents a significant leap in international cooperation and contributes to building a modern education system based on innovation and aligning educational outcomes with the needs of the global labor market.
